He has been involved in the asphalt industry for more than 25 years. He has previously managed Pioneer Asphalts in Perth in the late 1980’s, then Pioneer Asphalts in Hong Kong in the early 1990’s before establishing his own business in Hong Kong in the mid to late 1990’s. He was involved in the West Kowloon Expressway (80,000 tonnes),Yuen Long Bypass (220,000 tonnes) and the new Hong Kong Airport at Chek Lap Kok (first runway – 550,000 tonnes).
He sold out to the other partners and relocated back to Perth in 1998. Upon his return he took on the position of General Manager of BGC Asphalt & Quarries before establishing AAA Asphalt Surfaces in 2006.
Frank has been involved in many Main Roads projects including the following –
- Broome Highway Bypass
- Geraldton Southern Transport Corridor – deeplift asphalt and GRS
- Port Access Corridor Esperance – deeplift asphalt
- Downer Mouchel Perth metro profiling and resurfacing works
He was also involved in the recent upgrade of the Fremantle Port area at Rous Head which included approximately 30,000 tonnes of deeplift asphalt.
Operations Support Manager
Kyle has spent a considerable amount of time working on major projects as an operator and worked his way through to being a Road Crew Foreman in 2003. In 2006 he spent time as the WA-NT Trainer for Pioneer Road Services where he delivering training courses to small and large groups of employees. This included training to operate machinery and the finer techniques of laying asphalt.
Because of his involvement on a number of airport jobs he was utilized as Pioneers leading Supervisor for any airport work they had, he has worked with others and been responsible for many runway projects such as Darwin Airport, Alice Springs, Adelaide, Perth Airport, Pearce Airbase and Gin Gin Airbase.
Since 2012 Kyle has been working for Asphalt Surfaces and AAA Asphalt as a senior supervisor and recently promoted to Operations manager.
Kyle has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the asphalt industry in Perth and is highly regarded and respected by Main Roads WA and local government.
Asphalt Construction Manager
He has been involved with and managed many large scale projects including airport runway overlays to freeway upgrades and resurfacing.
He has assumed responsibility for the projects from initial setup and mobilisation to conducting mix trials and ensuring laying operations meet specifications.
Bruce is very experienced in liaising with clients, programming works and ensuring that resources and progress meets expectations.
He has been instrumental in upgrading and refining the control systems of our asphalt production plants to ensure accurate production control. This ensures all asphalt produced meets the relevant specifications.
